BLUE MOON SPECIAL is a five-man Jumpblues and Rock & Roll orchestra of exceptional quality with an outstanding stage performance. The members of this band, all of whom have gained recognition in previous Rockabilly- and Jazzbands, are a guarantee for a real good time. These fellows are clearly inspired by the marriage of black and white music styles of the fifties, responsible for the birth of Rock & Roll.

Winnie DeSoto on Drums provides a rousing rhythm with an expression of calm pleasure and confidence. Huub Urling's similar 'veil of coolness' melts with his driving style on Upright Bass. Paul Berding and Floor Massee on Baritone and Tenor Sax step up the total sound with double allure. Ritch van Gessel, the 'face' of BLUE MOON SPECIAL has an easy exacting manner-exciting guitar work and a voice that those who have gone before and those yet to come would envy.
